Thank You for an Incredible FM2026

Wow. Where do we even begin?
Last year, “The Gala” welcomed 2,431 attendees. This year, 3,836 of you joined us for “Be Kind; Rewind”, an increase of 1,405 attendees, or an incredible 57% growth in just one year.
Based on worldwide convention attendance numbers (provided by WikiFur), that growth moves Furry Migration from 26th place in 2025 to 17th place in 2026. We’re honestly speechless. Our community grew so much that we’ve already worked with the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis to expand into the fourth floor for 2027, earlier than we anticipated.
Numbers alone, however, cannot capture what made this year so special. There are so many different things to highlight, so I don’t want to miss anything, but some of the high-level things:

Furry Migration is ran by our community. It’s created by every attendee who hung out with new friends in the lobby, hosted a panel, performed on stage, supported our vendors and charity, spent a chunk of their day helping in registration, volunteered their time, spared a few hours to help in consuite or simply helped make someone else feel welcome. Whether this was your first Furry Migration or one of many, you helped shape the weekend we shared.
We also owe an enormous thank-you to our volunteers and staff. Their work began long before the doors opened and continued after the final attendee headed home. From months of planning to countless acts of kindness behind the scenes, this convention would not be possible without their selfless dedication.
There is plenty for us to celebrate, and plenty for us to learn. As we review feedback and begin preparing for 2027, we want to understand both what went well and where we can improve. Growth at this scale brings new opportunities alongside new challenges, and we remain committed to making Furry Migration a welcoming, memorable, and sustainable experience for everyone!

When can I register for FM2027!? Soon! We’ll announce pre-reg opening once we consolidate and wrap up registration for 2026.
For now, please take some time to rest, recover, and reflect on an extraordinary weekend. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for joining us, believing in us, and making Furry Migration what it is. We’ve come a long way, and we’re far from done.
