Youths aged 6 and under may attend for free with an accompanying registered adult.

Attendees will receive access to Furry Migration for all three days of the convention (Fri-Sun).

Individuals aged 7 through 17  are eligible for discounted registration at the Attendee badge level. Minors under the age of 18 are required to present parental consent documentation to attend Furry Migration. Please refer to our Minors Policy with a parent/legal guardian for full details prior to registering.

Sponsors receive all the benefits of Attendee registration, as well as a themed Furry Migration T-shirt and lanyard, Sponsor ribbon, and early access to the Dealers Den and Artists Alley.

Super Sponsors receive all the benefits of Attendee registration, as well as a themed Furry Migration T-shirt and lanyard, Super Sponsor ribbon, early access to the Dealers Den and Artists Alley, Saturday morning brunch, preferred seating at major convention events, a special convention badge design, and a special gift.

All attendees of Furry Migration are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct.


General Policies

Accepted Forms of Payment

Furry Migration is a cashless convention. ConCat, our online registration partner, accepts most major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and
Discover. Furry Migration does not accept cash, checks, PayPal or any cryptocurrencies.

When registering, you must enter the exact billing address of the card you are using, or the transaction may be declined. ConCat’s card processing system Stripe verifies the billing addresses of all credit/debit cards during an online transaction.

If an error occurs when checking out, duplicate charges may appear on the purchaser’s credit/debit card. These charges are temporary, and are typically reversed within five (5) business days. If an erroneous charge has not been reversed after five business days, please contact our Registration department for assistance.

While Furry Migration itself is a cashless convention, our registered third-party vendors may accept cash or other alternative forms of payment. Each vendor has discretion over which forms of payment they choose to accept.

Access to Convention Programming

All registered attendees will receive access to convention programming which is appropriate for their age, as well as our Consuite. All registered attendees will receive access to Furry Migration for the entirety of the convention, except those who purchase a Sunday-only day pass,

The majority of our daytime programming at Furry Migration is rated PG, with only some exceptions rated PG-13. Any registered attendee may attend any of this programming, with the exception of special events which are held solely for our Sponsor and/or Super Sponsor level attendees.

Evening and nighttime programming includes panels and events rated “adult” (18+). ID check is required to gain admittance to adult programming. Minors under the age of 18 will not be permitted access to these events, regardless of parental consent.

Badge Names

Attendees may choose anything that is both family appropriate and of reasonable length for their badge name, at the discretion of Registration leadership. Inappropriate names will not be allowed. Furry Migration reserves the right to alter or shorten badge names as necessary.

Emojis and other special characters are not supported in badge names.

Badge Ownership

Registration to Furry Migration is sold every year as a badge. The legal owner of a badge to this year’s Furry Migration is the attendee listed on the registration, not the person who purchased it.

Furry Migration does not sell a perpetual membership to the convention. The convention sells tickets, referred to as badges, to our yearly convention event.

Only the registered attendee is permitted to pick up, relinquish or transfer their badge. Furry Migration does not allow attendees to pick up badges for their friends, significant others or spouses.

Day Passes

Registration at the Attendee level or above grants access to Furry Migration for the entire duration of the convention.

Furry Migration offers a 1-day pass for Sunday only. Sunday-only day passes are available for purchase on-site on the Sunday of the convention.

Furry Migration does not offer day passes for Friday or Saturday, or overnight passes while Registration is closed. Any individual wishing to attend Furry Migration on a Friday or Saturday will need to purchase registration for the full weekend at the Attendee level.

ID Requirements

Every individual who wishes to attend Furry Migration must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Furry Migration requires this in order to keep our convention safe and fun for all ages, and to ensure that only the registered attendee is able to pick up their badge.

The ID must bear the attendee’s legal name, date of birth and photograph, and be issued by a state or national government. This ID must match the legal name used to register for Furry Migration.

If you require assistance in determining what types of identification are acceptable, please contact the Registration department.

Lost Badges

If you lose or misplace your badge at the convention, a replacement badge can be purchased from Registration for a reprint fee of $20. Attendees must bring their photo ID for a replacement badge to be issued. If the badge is lost a second time, the full price of the badge will be charged for any additional replacements.

A partial refund of the reprint fee may be issued if the original badge is found, and if the replacement badge is returned before Registration closes on the Sunday of the convention.

Refunds

Registration for Furry Migration is non-refundable.

If you’ve purchased a badge but can no longer attend Furry Migration, you may contact us to transfer your badge or roll over your registration to next year at no cost. The attendee named on the badge may submit this request by contacting Registration before pre-registration closes on August 28, two weeks prior to the convention.

In the event that you register multiple times for Furry Migration, it is your responsibility to notify the Registration department of the duplicate registration. Once the duplicate registrations have been confirmed by Registration, attendees will have the choice of receiving a refund for the cost of their duplicate registration, or a rollover of the duplicate registration to the following convention year. You must notify the Registration department of any duplicate registrations before Registration closes on the Sunday of the convention. Any duplicate registrations submitted after Registration closes shall only be eligible for rollover to the following convention year.

All notifications of duplicate registration must be received by September 30th. Requests submitted after this deadline will be ineligible for both refund and rollover.

Minors Policy

General Guidelines for Minors

Furry Migration welcomes any individual wishing to attend our convention, regardless of age. All individuals under the age of 18 as of Opening Ceremonies on the Friday of the convention will be expected to abide by our Minors Policy, in addition to our Code of Conduct and Registration Policy. These policies are in place for the safety of all our attendees, as well as to protect our convention, staff, and volunteers.

A minor who turns 18 years old during the convention is eligible to receive a standard adult attendee badge upon request. Please contact the Registration department on or after your birthday to request a badge upgrade.

A completed and signed parental consent form is required for all minors attending Furry Migration. You can locate this form at the bottom of this page.

For our event, Furry Migration recognizes three distinct categorizations for minors. For more information about your age group, please refer to the following sections.

Minors under 16 years old

All individuals under the age of 16 years old as of the Opening Ceremonies of Furry Migration are required to have a parent or legal guardian present during check-in at the convention, in addition to a completed and signed parental consent form. Minors in this age group must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while in the convention space. The parent or legal guardian must also be a registered attendee of the convention.

Attendees under the age of 7 years old as of the Opening Ceremonies of Furry Migration can only be registered on-site in person at Furry Migration, and will receive free admission to the convention when accompanied by their registered parent or legal guardian.

The parental consent form does not require notarization if the minor is attending Furry Migration with their parent or legal guardian.

Minors aged between 16-17 years old

All individuals whose age is 16-17 years old as of the Opening Ceremonies of Furry Migration are required to have a parent or legal guardian present when they check in at the convention, in addition to a completed and signed parental consent form. Minors in this age group will be must present a valid government issued photo ID or a school ID displaying their name and photograph to pick up their badge. If a minor does not have a valid form of ID, a copy of their birth certificate along with parental attestation can be accepted.

Parents and legal guardians of minors in this age group are requested to remain on the premises while their children are at the convention, but are not required to accompany the minor throughout in the convention space.

The parental consent form does not require notarization if the minor is attending Furry Migration with their parent or legal guardian.

Minors aged 16-17 years old, attending without a parent/legal guardian

Individuals whose age is 16-17 years old as of the Opening Ceremonies of Furry Migration, are permitted to attend Furry Migration without a parent or legal guardian in accompaniment. Unaccompanied minors are required to have a completed, signed and notarized parental consent form, in addition to a valid form of photo ID issued by a state or national government. The name on the minor’s identification must match the name on both their parental consent form and registration.

A notarized parental consent form is required for minors attending without a parent or legal guardian. Furry Migration will not accept parental consent granted via phone, text or email. Minors that do not meet these requirements will be refused admission to Furry Migration without exception.

For individuals traveling from outside of the United States, Notary Publics may also be known as a Commissioner for Oaths. US Consular Services in most nations may also have notaries on staff at consular locations that can notarize the consent form for you as well.
