Statement About Furry Migration 2020 Convention Chair

Monday, September 16, 2019

“When you go on a road trip, sometimes you see some amazing things, but sometimes on the way you get a flat tire. We got a flat tire.”

This is unexpected.

When you go on a road trip, sometimes you see some amazing things, but sometimes on the way you get a flat tire.

We got a flat tire.

Because of personal and well-being reasons, Mouring has resigned from his role of Furry Migration convention chairman. The Minnesota Furs Board of Directors have reluctantly accepted Mouring’s resignation and as of this moment he is no longer convention chairman for Furry Migration 2020.

Going forward, the chairman role for Furry Migration 2020 will be handled by Kurst Hyperyote until a new chairman is chosen. After a new chairman is chosen, it is planned for Kurst to stay on board as a co-convention chairman for 2020 to help the transition to our new incoming convention chairman. This should minimize the disruption to the convention and continue building Furry Migration for the future.

We will not be changing our Guests of Honor, location, dates, or any additional plans that were announced at the closing ceremonies.

Again, the road has bumps but we will continue to drive towards a great big beautiful tomorrow at Furry Migration 2020 and beyond!

Kurst Hyperyote
Convention Chairman for 2019 and Co-Chairman for 2020
