That’s a Wrap!

As Furry Migration 2015 is put to bed, we came away with many things from the books, surveys, and feedback. Now, we want to share some of the highlights with you.
Final registration numbers are in. The final total of registrations came in at 701 memberships. That is an increase of 29% from 2014. Of those 701 memberships, 688 of you were able to join us at the convention. And on top of all that, 85 of you registered as a sponsor. Kellic and the convention staff thank you for your support no matter if you purchased a day pass or were a sponsor.
But that is not all. The 2015 Guests of Honor – Reed Waller, Ken Fletcher and Vantid – had a blast, and so did the 2014 Guests who all came back this year. The Fursuit Parade had 188 participants which was a 61% increase from last year. The 2015 charity, Whisker Rescue – a 503c non-profit charity, received $1400 from your kind donations.
Again, the convention wants to thank the hotel, staff, volunteers, and members for your support, participation, and feedback. We are taking all the data collected to use in the planning of Furry Migration 2016: Quest for Shiny. It is our goal to bring you an even better convention next year!
Here are a few highlights from the feedback we received after the convention:
“To sum it all up I love your convention it’s been my best this year (out of 5 so far), MN Furs are good people, the hotel was great, and I am already preregistered as is my entire room from this year as well as even brought another Iowa fur along for next year already.”
“Great midnight movies!”
“Nerf war was AWESOME!
“Fursuit Games, best I’ve been in in well over a year, both sets.”
“I had a fantastic time, and I can’t wait to come back for 2016.”
